Darlington's 30th beer and music festival will take place from Thursday 17 September to Sunday 20 September.

The event will see 50 British real ales, traditional farmhouse ciders, and classic imported bottled beers and lagers on offer.

Alongside the real ales will be live music and entertainment at Darlington Arts Centre and the Market Square.

The event is presented by Darlington Arts Centre R'n'B Club and Darlington CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).

On Thursday 17 September at 8pm, the first band of the festival, The Smokin' Spitfires will take to the stage with some Soul R'n'B. Bringing a contemporary feel to classic Blues and Blues-Rock, Storm Warning will perform at Darlington Arts Centre on Friday 18 September at 8pm.

The festival weekend continues with live music with Copperhead Still on Saturday 19 September at 1pm, and the Tommy Allen Band will be live from 8pm.

As part of the Rhythm 'n' Brews festival there will also be a number of free performances on Sunday 20 September in Darlington's Market Square. These will include performances from bands such as The Rhythm Method, The Cadillac Kings, and The Animals and Friends with special guest Spenser Davis.

Live music can also be heard in the Town Centre pubs, The Pennyweight, The Quaker House, The Hole In The Wall, and also at the Dolphin Centre.
