The calendar features a dozen images from its 100-year history
A commemorative calendar has been launched to mark the 100th birthday of the Tees Transporter Bridge.
The iconic landmark celebrates its centenary on 17 October 2011 and events are already under way to mark the major milestone in its colourful history.
The Centenary Calendar features a dozen stunning images connected with the Bridge, taken at different points in its 100-year history.
The Grade 2 listed bridge is synonymous with the town.
Restoration work in the run-up to next year's celebrations is well underway, with improvements such as replacement motors already completed.
A bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund is in progress to fund further access improvements, restoration work to the gondola, improved signage and lighting and events to raise awareness of the Transporter's heritage.

In recent years the Transporter has become a centre for extreme sports with regular events involving 1,500 visitors taking in the panoramic views from the top of the Bridge before bungee jumping, zip lining and abseiling off it.
Councillor Paul Thompson, Middlesbrough Council's Executive Member for Transport, said: "The Transporter is an iconic symbol for the region and a much loved feature of the Teesside skyline, both as a working bridge and a tourist attraction.
"It's fitting that we should celebrate the Bridge's 100th birthday in style, and the calendar is a fantastic way to do that.
"There are some great images covering the Transporter's rich history, and the calendar looks certain to become a collector's item."
