Follow the river from Perth to Dundee

Landward presenter Dougie Vipond undertakes a journey along the River Tay from source to sea. As he travels, Dougie meets some of the characters who live, work and play on the 'silvery Tay'.

Dougie finishes his exploration of the river by hitching a boat along the tidal currents at Perth before finding some inspiration from 'the Bard of Dundee', William Topaz McGonagall.

This feature was transmitted on Landward in May 2009.
