Ruth Bowley was seventeen years old when she joined the Land Army. She moved on to a farm to live by herself, feeding chickens and cattle as part of a huge wartime effort to keep the nation fed. Ruth's memories are part of a major new exhibition - 'The Land Army - Cinderellas of the Soil' at Brighton Museum.
