Brian May on his Save Me campaign

Brian May CBE is the virtuoso guitarist of the rock group Queen.

But when he is not making or producing music, he supports the Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue centre in Camberley, allowing them to release foxes and other wildlife back onto his estate at Windlesham.

Now he has launched the Save Me campaign to try to ensure that the present laws protecting animals from cruelty are kept in place.

He talks to BBC Surrey's Clare Cowan to explain more about his love of animals and why he wants to see them protected in the future.
