Pudsey insists Suffolk HAS Talent
Michael J Fitch
Michael J Fitch has bent silver spoons at Buckingham Palace for the Queen

Magician Michael J Fitch will be joined by your favourite BBC Suffolk presenters for a special Children in Need stage show.

Suffolk HAS Talent takes place at Felixstowe's Spa Pavilion on 11 November 2009.

Among the radio presenters taking part are Rob Dunger removing his clothes and Lesley Dolphin telling risqué tales.

Last year's Dancers in Need show featuring BBC Suffolk staff at the Spa was sold-out.

The award-winning children's magician Michael J Fitch headlines this year's mixture of established talent and BBC Suffolk wannabees.

Michael starred in Channel 4's Freaky Magic show and spoon-bender Uri Geller has said of him: "It looked like the metal melts at his gaze, he does it better than me!"

Elsewhere on the bill are the Co-op Juniors, dance group Streetwise Inc, Buddy Holly tribute Rave On, Danni Perkins and Dakota Blue (featuring BBC Suffolk presenter Stephanie Mackentyre).

From Dancers to chancers

Those are the professionals - now we bring you the amateurs from BBC Suffolk.

Luke Deal and Georgina Wroe
There were four in ABBA, but only two in Luke Deal and Georgina Wroe

Luke Deal and Georgina Wroe will be squeezing in to lycra for an ABBA tribute, Foz and Bob will be bringing you a shorter Happy Hour with BBC Suffolk's poet laureate Jane Mower, while Jon Wright and Graeme Mac have formed a band for a one-night-only appearance.

Matt & Simon will be doing something strange in the style of their Sunday show, Lesley Dolphin will be telling Suffolk stories and folk tales while in a reprise of their Dancers in Need turns of 2008, our trio of lovely ladies Alison Acton, Kate Arkell and Linda Walker will be cutting a rug to Three Times A Lady.

Shock of the evening could be from Rob Dunger, who's stripping down to his thong (and possibly further if the mood takes him?) with backing from the Ipswich Operatic & Dramatic Society.

Your compere is Mark Murphy and passing comment on his colleagues' talent, or lack of it, will be BBC Suffolk's resident grumpy old gits Bryan Knights and Foz.

Tickets for Suffolk HAS Talent are £10 and you can get them from the Felixstowe Spa Pavilion website or phone 01394 282126 (10am-5pm Monday to Saturday).

At least £8 of this will go directly to Children in Need.
