400 miles at four miles an hour

In 1959, a team of Hatfield Technical College students enlisted the help of Suffolk lawnmower firm Ransomes for a bizarre journey. They were testing the efficiency of small petrol engines by driving a mower from Edinburgh to London. It took four days and Ransomes' film unit shot some footage.
