BBC Suffolk Pop Quiz 2010
Foz with Town 102 team who had the nerve to beat all the BBC teams

The Ipswich Corn Exchange was sold-out for BBC Suffolk's annual Pop Quiz on Wednesday, 13 October, 2010.

It is usually in aid of Children in Need, but this year it was raising money for the Treehouse Appeal to build a new children's hospice in Ipswich serving Suffolk and North Essex.

£1,720 was handed over to East Anglia's Children's Hospices as 44 teams entered the quiz.

Your quizmaster Stephen Foster kept his record of never having a team get everything right. His rounds were the X factor, 1980s icons, John Lennon, drinking songs, 2010, novelty hits of the 1970s, rocking the night away and the picture round.

Here are a few of the questions (answers further down):

Q1 In which city did soul legend Soloman Burke die in 2010?
Q2 Which punk band was fronted by Poly Styrene?
Q3 In which year did Kylie have a number one with I Should Be So Lucky?
Q4 Which US singer headlined at Portman Road in 2010?
Q5 Who had a hit with Groovin' With Mr Bloe?
