NEWS (and Gossip) in August 2010
No more lies
The Lies won't be telling untruths anymore. Sadly.
Local boys The Lies had their last ever gig at the Underground on Friday 13 August. Seems a good date...
The split seems to be due to the fact that the band members are now living all across the country making time to practice and record almost impossible.
Do not fear though Lies fans! Each member will be getting involved in a new project and when they do you will be the first to hear it on Subculture!

Pub owners invite Ozzy Osbourne for lunch
Calling Ozzy Osbourne
Owners of a village pub are urging Ozzy Osbourne to return home. Trevor and Cathy Golton own the
Hand and Cleaver
pub in Ranton Green, near Stafford, which is only a few yards away from Ozzy's former cottage on Butt Lane.
The pub has been referred to by The Black Sabbath frontman as a 'place of inspiration' within his Sunday Times column 'ask Dr Ozzy' and has had numerous mentions in his autobiography.
Trevor and Cathy are not shy of feeding rock stars. Their previous establishment in Suffolk was within minutes of Radio 1 DJ, the late John Peel's home, whose session bands were pub regulars.
Owner-chef Trevor thinks it is time that Ozzy made a revisit to refresh his memory.
