This week's Subculture blog
Rob was away this week so it was the turn of myself - Lee - to take the Subculture reins and bring you the best in New and Unsigned music across Staffordshire and Cheshire.
I was joined by Scott to bring you his picks from the local music scene and also the latest member of the Subculture team - Mark Askew from The Underground in Hanley - who brought us a brilliant two song DJ set mixed by his good self. A lot of people on the text were loving the DJ set and giving him 10/10 - although it must be said that two of those people were his parents!!
I also told you how, if you're in a local band, you could be getting your music played at the Britannia Stadium. If you're interested and you missed it then click on Listen Again to find out how you could get involved.
I also spoke to Gary Clay from The Tequila Lips to find out the latest about their new single; as well as Alex from Pegasus Bridge to get the band's thoughts ahead of their session at London's Maida Vale studios this Sunday. All the best to the lads for their big day. Rob and I will be with them and will bring you some highlights next week on the show.
Thanks once again for listening and if you missed the show then click on listen again and you can listen to the whole show again for the next seven days. Rob's back next Thursday from 7, have a good week!
