A soldier from Stoke-on-Trent has been honoured 92 years after his death in WW1, thanks to detective work by a relative.

The largest-ever haul of Anglo-Saxon gold found in Britain was discovered in a farmers field in Staffordshire.

The City of Stoke-on-Trent was officially formed from the six towns in 1910. But will Hanley still be around for the centenary?
