This year's Dylan Thomas Fringe Festival culminates on Sunday November 8 with a party that will sweep revellers back to 1986.

The event, held at the Garage, Uplands Crescent, Swansea, will showcase some of the highlights of this year's festival alongside acts that appeared in the 1986 Fringe Festival.

Festival organiser Huw Rees said,"1986 was one of the last years the Fringe was held before we revived it in 2004.

"Some of the musicians who played in 1986, including Paul Rodgers, who will be playing the same songs he played in 1986.

"Other acts include Chico, a 20-piece drum band who are going to be performing outside, and Dufraine, one of the most original bands in South Wales.

"There will be blues funk from The Good Burghers, and bluegrass music from Up The Creek.

"We're encouraging people to come along and enjoy the party atmosphere.

"The fringe has been going from strength to strength since we revived it back in 2005 and this is a chance to take in some of the acts you may have missed during the festival, and to take a nostalgic look back at the Swansea Fringe festivals of the 1980s.

"It'll be a party atmosphere with a late bar, and about 4 hours entertainment for just £5."
