Owen Money (right) returns to his home town for the roadshow
Owen Money and Derek Brockway are among the personalities being lined up for a BBC Wales roadshow in Merthyr Tydfil.
The latest in a series of twice yearly events offers people a chance to try their hand at TV or radio presenting and to meet Doctor Who's Dalek foes.
The latest HD and 3D technology will be on show along with internet advice from the BBC's First Click campaign.
The event takes place at Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre on Sunday from 1000 to 1630 BST with free admission.
X Factor star Lloyd Daniels and members of Only Boys Aloud from Merthyr and Aberdare will be performing at the roadshow.
BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru will also be broadcasting live from the event.
Several local historical and cultural organisations will be in attendance, along with BBC personalities.
Staff from the National Museum and Cyfarthfa Museum will be displaying items including a cannonball and rails from Cyfarthfa Ironworks and a Sinclair C5 which was manufactured in Merthyr.
Gwenda Richards, editor of communities and partnerships for BBC Cymru Wales, hoped the event would be as successful as 15 previous roadshows.
"It's a valuable experience for the staff, as they get to talk face to face with our audiences," she said.
"The emphasis is about learning about the BBC and our services, but in a fun way with all sorts of interactive activities.
"Another important aspect is working with local communities and partners, so there will be plenty of opportunities for the people of Merthyr to tell us their stories, memories and bring along some memorabilia."
