David and Martha Holman

Martha and David Holman from Abergavenny run a fair trade company selling arts and crafts from her native Zimbabwe. In January 2009 they made a return trip to deliver medical supplies.

Their destination was Domboshawa, a village north of Harare, where women still collect water the traditional way.

Drilling of borehole

Love Zimbabwe has sponsored the drilling of a bore hole to give the village easier access to water.

This local fisherman braves a crocodile-infested lake to make a catch.

Handing out food and lifestraws

Martha hands out food and "lifestraws", equipped with iodine filters for safe drinking of water. Martha and David gave 370 of these away.
