This webcam is on the roof of the National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff Bay and provides the backdrop for BBC Wales Today.

The image normally updates every 15 minutes, subject to technical issues.

Depending on the focus, St David's Hotel can usually be seen in the centre of the picture, with the Penarth headland in the distance.

The closest structure is the roof of the Senedd, the Assembly's debating chamber, with the red brick Pierhead building to the right.
