Spoof actor ain't seen Ruthin yet

Treforest actor Russell Gomer talks about his own music parody in response to Newport State of Mind.

Having previously created the character of spoof actor David Garland Jones, Russell decided to follow the example of MJ Delaney's parody of a Jay-Z song which has been an internet hit.

Russell's parody looks to north Wales by reworking the Bachman Turner Overdrive rock classic Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet as Ain't Seen Ruthin Yet.

"David" and his collaborator - TV scriptwriter Jon Tregenna - talked about their work to Mal Pope and Louise Elliott on BBC Radio Wales.

Jon says the internet is proving to be an easily accessible platform for artists to show their creativity.
