Singer Ricky Valance releases a new album to mark the 50th anniversary of his number one hit Tell Laura I Love Her.
Born David Spencer at Ynysddu in the Sirhowy Valley near Caerphilly, he hit the top spot with his cover of the Ray Peterson song in September 1960.
He spoke to Roy Noble on BBC Radio Wales to mark the anniversary, looking back on his life and career.
