Youngsters from Tredegar Comprehensive School will be rubbing shoulders with the stars in the Voice in a Million concert at London's O2 arena on Thursday 28 January.

Alex, Beth, Christian, Georgia and Jake, along with head of music Emma Cavendish Morris, gave a sneak preview to Jamie Owen and Louise Elliott on BBC Radio Wales.

Four thousand youngsters will be singing at the London concert - Tredegar is the only school in Wales taking part, and one of the few that isn't a specialist performing arts academy.

Rick Wakeman, Sinitta, Nicky Campbell and Clare Grogan are among the narrators taking part in the event, which is also being supported by Sir Elton John and Simon Cowell.

Voice in a Million is a series of live concerts aimed at raising funds and awareness of orphaned or abandoned children in association with the British Association for Adopting and Fostering.
