David Mahoney and Niall Allen tell Roy Noble of BBC Radio Wales how it feels to join the famous Cardiff choir Only Men Aloud.

Musical director Tim Rhys Evans explains how he chose them following a day of auditions in which he listened to 30 hopefuls selected from hundreds of applicants.

David, 22, from Groesfaen, near Cardiff, sings tenor and was a chorister at Llandaff Cathedral and Oxford University.

Niall, 21, from Rhiwbina, Cardiff, is a bass with a background in musical theatre and has played rugby and cricket at county level.

They performed with Only Men Aloud at the BBC Wales Children in Need concert in November and have been busy learning the choir's repertoire ready to hit the road on a Christmas tour.
