Only Men Aloud provide a new twist on the Welsh male voice choir
Cardiff's world famous choir Only Men Aloud return to their home city this weekend to search for a star.
Auditions will be held at the Wales Millennium Centre on Saturday for a new member to join the ranks in time for a Christmas tour.
The choir is also expecting a string of TV and radio appearances to promote their second album Band of Brothers.
Musical director Tim Rhys-Evans says: "We're looking for someone with much more than just an incredible voice."
"We want someone who is passionate about singing and wants to have fun while doing it.
Bonnie Tyler appears as a guest on the new album Band of Brothers
"We've had the most incredible year already, but the person who fits the bill will be able to come on the rest of the journey with us."
The selected singer will join the choir as they build on the success they've enjoyed since winning the BBC TV talent series Last Choir Standing in 2008.
Highlights so far have included two US tours, performances at BBC Proms in the Park in Swansea, rugby internationals and a private party at Buckingham Palace at the invitation of the Prince of Wales.
The choir has performed with a host of celebrities including Bonnie Tyler, who appears on a reworking of her 1983 chart topper Total Eclipse of the Heart for their new album.
The singer from Swansea will join the choir for an album launch event at Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff, on Monday.
