Remembering the Six Bells disaster

Kayley Thomas talks to relatives and colleagues of the 45 men who died in the Six Bells colliery explosion near Abertillery in 1960.

On 28 June 2010 the Archbishop of Canterbury will lead a service of remembrance to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the tragedy.

A memorial to the tragedy - a 20m high sculpture of a miner by Sebastian Boyesen - will be also be unveiled.
