Richard Davies of the Cwmbran Historical Society tells Roy Noble of BBC Radio Wales about a new project to explore the hidden history of the town.

Cwmbran is best known for the new town which was created in the 1950s, but the area has been inhabited for 3500 years, back to Neolithic times.

Local residents are invited to help explore several ancient sites and structures whose origins remain a mystery.

The Ancient Cwmbran and the Cistercians Partnership has been created to run the project, which is being backed by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
