Butetown's party for investiture

Archive footage shows people in the Butetown area of Cardiff celebrating the investiture of the Prince of Wales in 1969 with a street party.

The ceremony at Caernarfon castle 1 July 1969 prompted mixed reactions in Wales - while opponents staged republican protests many people celebrated the event with street parties.
