Craft for people of all abilities

Marsha O'Mahoney meets artists and volunteers at the Swan Craft Studio in Monmouth, which offers creative opportunities to people with disabilities.

Staff hope adults of all ages and abilities will enjoy the therapeutic value of creating visual art and ceramics.

Workshops are offered as part of a countywide initiative to provide stimulating activities for people with disabilities and elderly day service users.

The resulting artworks are displayed in the studio's shop and gallery with many being offered for sale.
