The carnival carts showcase each club's creativity and flair

Music, dance and colourful lights will illuminate the streets of Bridgwater for the town's annual carnival.

Last year more than £30,000 was raised for charities and it's hoped this year will be equally, if not more, successful.

More than 50 carts and dozens of walking entries are taking part and a firework display will launch the carnival celebrations the night before.

The Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival takes place on Friday 6 November.
