Who are i AM BODHi?

Stos Goneos - Guitar/Vocals

Lucas James - Bass

Dimitri Goneos - Drums/backing vocals

When did you form?

2008

How did you get together?

Stos and Dimitri returned to the UK after several years in central Africa, Stos met Lucas and they formed a band with another drummer but were later joined by Dimitri and re-launched under the name of i AM BODHi

How would you describe your music?

Jump Rock

How did the band gets its name?

Bodhi - the name comes from Patrick 'The Legend' Swayze's character in the movie Point Break, but it's meaning comes from the Buddhist term for 'enlightenment'. It is in fact a level higher than Nirvana - and has to do with the extinction of greed, hatred and delusion.

Who are your musical influences?

The 90's, The Police, Incubus, Deftones, Bjork, LostAlone, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Muse

What is your most memorable gig so far?

They've all been memorable :]

The Furnace, Swindon, our EP launch- was hot!

Where would you most like to play?

Main Stage at Reading, Glastonbury and Rock AM Ring.

Right now- want to record and release a new smashing EP for 2010 and then tour it around Europe with a band like LostAlone.

Finally, tell us some interesting facts about yourself

Stos and Dimitri are brothers, half Greek, born in Scotland, raised in Africa and Lucas is a vegetarian:) They have recently moved to Bath where Stos is studying Music, Dimitri is studying Media and Lucas is a vegetarian!
