Introducing Somerset wants your music!

Do you fancy yourself as the next big thing? Or perhaps you dream of rocking out on stage at the next Glasto or being played on Radio 1? Well, here's your chance to get your music heard.

Introducing Somerset, BBC Somerset's section for local artists and bands, is offering you the chance to get yourself known, and to let people know what you're all about.

You could also get the chance to play on a BBC Radio Station - shows of which include Huw Stephens' Introducing show on Radio 1.

Introducing Somerset is part of the BBC's unsigned music brand which has shows across Radio 1, 6 Music and local radio stations. It also has stages at most of the top music festivals. Acts which have come through the Introducing staple include The Ting Tings.

If you live in Somerset and you're an unsigned artist or band, all you need to do is fill in our form with details about yourselves, and we'll give you your own page on Introducing Somerset.

We can add audio tracks of your songs as well, as long as the material is original and not covers.

Just e-mail over an mp3 and the completed contract form to somerset@bbc.co.uklink text here

We'd need to include a picture of your lovely selves too, so make sure you also e-mail us a photo of you or your band (preferably as a high-resolution JPEG).

Alternatively, you can upload your music to the new Introducing Uploader. Muchuu from Shrewsbury did - and a few weeks later they were played on Radio 1!

Whether you're the next Goldfrapp, or the Tears for Fears of the noughties (both are originally from Bath) then we want to hear from you!

So, what are you waiting for? Send us your details now!
