Roger has previously written poems about Dunster and Watchet

When poet Roger Taber visited Porlock, he was so inspired that he wrote a poem about the coastal village. Having previously written poems about Dunster and Watchet, Roger has had people from across the country him contact him saying they were inspired to visit those places after reading his work. Let's hope this one has the same impact on Porlock's visitor numbers!
Engaging with Porlock Engage and go with Earth Mother, driving a romantic trail to old Porlock's stark, stoic shore
Among flora and fauna of Exmoor, seek out the Doone's fair vale, engage and go with Earth Mother
Walk with Coleridge and Blackmore (inspired by country ale) to old Porlock's stark, stoic shore
Who climbs Porlock Hill, sees nature fan like a peacock's tail; engage and go with Earth Mother
Watch low tide at the Weir's harbour, its prehistoric past unveil to old Porlock's stark, stoic shore
Where moor and sea, its moods endure, humanity exposed for frail, engage and go with Earth Mother to old Porlock's stark, stoic shore
