The graffiti project at RAF Cosford
The RAF Museum celebrates the fall of the Berlin Wall

It is 20 years since the Berlin Wall fell and the RAF Museum at Cosford is inviting families to take part in a graffiti project.

On Saturday, 14 November and Sunday, 15 November families will be able to design their own slogan for inclusion on the wall in the Cold War Exhibition.

There is also a section of the genuine wall on display.

Saturday, 14 November is also the last chance to take look round the aircraft conservation centre at the museum.

Jazz at St Leonard's

The John Williams Trio is at St Leonard's in Bridgnorth

There is jazz on the menu at St Leonard's Church in Bridgnorth with the John Williams Trio.

Their repertoire is an mix of jazz styles from New Orleans to be-bop. The trio is led by John Williams on recorder, saxophone and bass clarinet, Roy Sainsbury on guitar and Tom Hill on the double Bass.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and the proceeds go to the work of the Churches Conservation Trust .

The church can be found in St Leonard's Close in Bridgnorth.

Fireworks at Donnington

Donnington promises a spectacular display

Donnington Bonfire and Fireworks Display is on Saturday, 14 November at Broadoaks Playing Field.

The gates open at 6pm and the bonfire will be lit at about 7pm with the fireworks starting at about 8.45.

There is also a fun fair for all the family.

The organisers are asking people not to bring their own sparklers or fireworks and warn anyone does will have them confiscated.

Parking is at Wyevale Garden Centre and Broadoakes Field and costs £2.

Fringe winners at Bishops Castle

The Red Cape Theatre Company
The Red Cape Theatre comes to Bishops Castle

The Red Cape Theatre Company will be at SpArC in Bishops Castle on Saturday, 14 November with their award winning production of The Idiot Colony.

The show is based on real life accounts of young women incarcerated in mental asylums during the 1940s and 1950s for crimes ranging from illegitimate pregnancy to being abused or even being considered too promiscuous or flirtatious.

The company won a Fringe First award at the the Edinburgh festival and Total Theatre Award.

The show has been brought to the county by Arts Alive and tickets can be obtained from the SpArC box officer on 01588 630321.

Folk at Whitchurch

Megson
Folk duo Megson are in Whitchurch

The Talbot Theatre at Whitchurch Leisure Centre is the venue for a concert by the well known folk duo, Megson organised by North Shropshire Folk .

Northern husband and wife team, Stu Hanna and Debbie Hanna-Palmer will be performing tracks from their new album Take Yourself a Wife.

Megson from Teeside were nominated for the Best Duo in the 2009 BBC Folk Awards.

Tickets for the concert, which starts at 8pm, are available from the Leisure Centre.
