Rani busy with film projects

Rani Mukerjee
Busy filming days ahead for Rani Mukerjee

One of Bollywood's most respected actresses, Rani Mukerjee, recently started shooting for her new film venture.

Directed by Rajkumar Gupta of Aamir fame, the film is based on the murder of Delhi model Jessica Lall in 1999 and the ensuing long legal battle for justice.

Titled, No One Killed Jessica, the movie also stars Vidya Balan who plays the character of Jessica's younger sister, Sabrina.

Rani's last release, Dil Bole Hadippa was a surprise hit in the UK cinemas despite a lukewarm response by audiences in India.

Besides No One Killed Jessica, Rani will also star in director Deepa Mehta's forthcoming movie, Midnight Children based on the novel by Salman Rushdie.

She has also done a voice-over to one of the lead animated characters in producers Karan Johar's forthcoming movie, Koochie Koochie Hota Hai.

So it looks like we will be seeing a lot more of Rani on the silver screen in the next few months.
