I was very upset so my mum bought me candies to make me happy. First record you bought? First record I bought was YMCA by The Village People. Your favourite three songs? Hum Tum Pe Marte Hain by Lata Mangeshkar & Udit Narayan. Right Here Right Nowby Abhishek Bachchan & Sunidhi Chauhan. Dil Lutrya by Jazzy B & Apachie Indian Who's been your best interviewee & why? My best interviewee was international cricketer Imran Khan. This was my first and most memorable interview. Being a celebrity he was very friendly and the interview was used by other BBC Radio stations. What's the most embarrassing thing you've said on-air? On my programme I was talking to a listener, she praised my programme and my voice and abruptly proposed me for marriage, I was really embarrassed! What's been your career highlight? Career highlight was when I presented for BBC Radio 5 Live the Bangladesh cricket tour in England - two hours of debate and discussion which was broadcast live for BBC Radio 5 Live and Radio Bangladesh. How do you spend your time away from the microphone? I take some time to play badminton and cricket also I produce and organise Asian programmes for BBC Radio Sheffield and the BBC's Asian Network. Favourite place in South Yorkshire or North Derbyshire - and why? Favourite place is Ringinglow Hillside. In night time from Ringinglow, the Sheffield City lights give an exotic view. As a 10-year-old child, what did you want to be when you grew up? As a ten-year-old I wanted to be a 'Rickshaw Rider'. (Three-wheeled method of transport commonly used in South Asia.) Who would you like to be trapped in a lift with? I would never want to be trapped in a lift, I am claustrophobic. Favourite food & drink? Favourite food and drink is Aloo Varta ( Mashed potato with chilli) and Coconut drink. What do you never miss on television? I never miss a live cricket match.
