What's your first memory?

At the age of six I was fighting with school friends and was told-off by my teacher.

First record you bought?

Jab Jab Phool Khley.

1. Pather Ke Sanam- Mohammed Rafi

3. Neyo Lagda dil - Reshma

Who's been your best interviewee & why?

Interview with Indian film Star Chonki Pandy, I really enjoyed the talking to him as he had lots of interesting topics to talk about.

What's the most embarrassing thing you've said on-air?

A pre-recorded interview I played on-air was unedited once...

What's been your career highlight?

Interview with then Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

How do you spend your time away from the microphone?

With my family, work, holidays and playing sports.

Favourite place in South Yorkshire or North Derbyshire?

Castleton.

As a 10-year-old child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to become a doctor.

Who would you like to be trapped in a lift with?

Film Star Ashwaria Ray.

Favourite food & drink?

Meat bhuna, fish biriyani and orange juice.

What do you never miss on television?

Any film gossip programme.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

I would spend a quarter of it on myself and give the rest to charity.
