Supergrass last performed in Oxfordshire at Truck Festival
In 2007 the local superstars Supergrass played a couple of Christmas dates at the Town Hall.
After a brief hiatus they are back with another special festive show: The Santagrass Christmas Party at The Oxford Regal on Friday 18th December.
Opening the night will be frontman Gaz Coombes' brother Charly Coombes and his band The New Breed.
The last Supergrass performance was at Truck Festival 2009 when the band headlined Oxford Day.
The main trio also made an appearance at The Academy in October when Gaz and Danny brought their side project The Hot Rats to town.
At the end of the show the pair were joined onstage by Mick Quinn for a quick blast of their classic Caught by the Fuzz.
Since 1994 Supergrass have been pumping out classic hits like 'Caught by the Fuzz, Alright, Richard III, Sun Hits the Sky, Going Out, Grace, Pumping on Your Stereo and Moving.
Mike Kill, manager of The Regal says "We're so excited about having the boys play at The Regal and showing off what a beautiful venue it is to people who wouldn't normally come in"
The Santagrass Christmas Party is at The Oxford Regal on Friday 18th December. Tickets are £17.50 and are on sale from The Regal box office and WeGotTickets.
