Who do you know that has given 100% and achieved great things in 2009?

The Oxfordshire Sports Awards is an annual event that showcases sport in Oxfordshire.

It recognises the talented sportsmen, sportswomen, teams and clubs plus the dedicated volunteers and coaches who give their time and expertise to help athletes of the future.

Nominations opened on 17 August and closed on 27 September. The winners are announced on Friday 13 November.

The event takes place at The Kassam Stadium, Oxford and is hosted by BBC Oxford's Jerome Sale. Our unsung local heroes will be getting recognition alongside today's and tomorrow's sporting greats.
