Henley girl plays at the festival

Rebecca Poole's debut performance at Henley Festival will be followed by the release of her first album on 23rd July

Rebecca Poole grew up in Henley where she admits to being something of a wild child.

"I was always very much more of a creative than an academic" she told us.

Rebecca is currently living near Nettlebed but her main business is in London where she is hard at work on her debut album.

This summer she was very proud to be given the opportunity to open up at the Henley Festival where she'd be playing alongside acts like Katherine Jenkins.

BBC Oxford's Tim Bearder caught up with her at the Du Vin Hotel in the town to hear her track "She's Got A Weapon" and see what it means to her to be playing the festival.
