Band of Horses by Marc West

Far from weighing heavy on the shoulders, expectation appears to have invigorated frontman Ben Bridwell.

His stable of heart-on-sleeve musicians have a captivating stagecraft complimenting their modern melodic twist on classic Americana.

South Carolina's Band of Horses finally look like they've hit their stride.

For the collective's first ever visit to Oxford, the band premiere material from their critically acclaimed third LP "Infinite Arms".

These songs are played alongside stellar selections from their back catalogue, including an awe inspiring rendition of live favourite "The Funeral" which leaves many teary-eyed.

It's all delivered with mightily impressive confidence - suggesting these thoroughbreds' elevation to the top is nailed this summer.
