Duotone played at the first OCM Open
|
The submissions window has opened for bands and artists to sign up for Oxford Contemporary Music's open event. The annual showcase is one of the most respected concerts for new artists on the Oxford music calendar. In previous years eclectic acts like cellist Duotone, ex-busker Kimwei, and hang player Adam Percussion have all played at the open. Now they are looking for another raft of talented performers to push the boundaries and astound the audience. Acts can perform in any musical genre. If the submissions are original creations and compositions they will be considered. To enter you must send a Myspace link or MP3 to

by Friday 5 March 2010. The line-up will be announced shortly after this date. Tickets for the concert on 27 March are £5 (£3 concession) and are available from The North Wall Arts Centre (01865 319450 /
