This month sees the 40th anniversary of the Woodstock Festival. The event in 1969 took place near Woodstock New York but every year the Oxfordshire town with the same name celebrates with its own mini event.

Woodstock Live will take place over the bank holiday weekend at the end of August 2009. As part of the celebrations a small art gallery in the town is offering people an alternative way to get involved.
