Tune In In a major emergency, if you are not involved in the incident, but are close by or believe you may be in danger, the best advice is to go inside a safe building (a building away from the immediate area affected by the emergency), stay inside until you are advised to do otherwise, and tune in to BBC Radio Nottingham or regional TV for information. Dial 999 only if there is a crime in progress or a danger to life. The non-emergency number for Nottinghamshire is 0300 300 99 99. Crimestoppers - If you have information about a crime in Nottinghamshire and you want to report it anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. On the BBC Remember that in an emergency there will be information on BBC Radio Nottingham. The station can be heard on 103.8, 95.5 and 95.1 FM, 1584 AM and on DAB.
