Llanberis farmer Vera is licensed to sell bluebells

Vera Thoss sits among the bluebells
A chemistry lecturer at Bangor University, Vera Thoss is interested in possible medical uses for bluebells.

Environmental chemist Dr Vera Thoss believes she's the only person in Wales with a licence to sell wild bluebells.

They flourish on her farm in the hills above Llanberis and she sells both bulbs and seeds.

On Country Focus on BBC Radio Wales she explains how she encourages these beautiful wild flowers to grow and gives tips on establishing your own bluebell colony.
