Fixed penalty notices worth over ninety thousand pounds have been issued in Northamptonshire since April 2007. Corby Borough Council has issued the most; a total of 711 fines, worth just over thirty two thousand pounds. The number of fixed penalties issued by Northampton Borough Council has risen almost ten fold from 17 in 2007 to 165 so far in this financial year.
