After returning from her holiday, Becky was back in the Treasure Quest hot-seat on Sunday, 28 June, 2009. Looking impressively tanned, she picked up the scent in Northrepps.
Clue one: "The first part of a Geordie's week, and the King but lacking public relations. The old Home's forecast not well-spoken, go out periodically and look under," led Becky to Mundesley.
After a slight detour via Mundesley Maritime Museum, Becky finally tracked down the clue under one of the tables in the beer garden of the village's Ship Inn.
Clue two: "Like a new browser, but even more so. A battling lady of the highest grade, stop off for refreshment." Becky asked the people of Mundesley for advice in tracking down the next riddle.
Got it! The riddle was temptingly located above the ice cream fridge in the cafe at Amazona Zoo, Cromer. With no time to stop and enjoy a cool treat, Becky headed back out on the road.
Clue three: "One to equip the slingers, and a street guide ending early. Cut itchy or flying high, ions away from fortune and be seated." The Questers took a detour through the grounds of Elderton Lodge.
After scrabbling about in the dark, the riddle was tracked down on the saw bench in Gunton Sawmill. With time running out, it looked as if Becky's holiday had blunted her treasure hunting abilities.
You could almost hear the cogs in Becky's head turning as she puzzled over the next clue. Had all the wrong turns and detours cost them their chance of success?
Clue four: "One of Ernest's most famous works, but the titular orb does the opposite here. Sounds like these beasts go up the slope, but woollier thinking is required for the clue." Becky asked for help.
The riddle was located at Hillside Animal and Shire Horse Sanctuary in West Runton. Unfortunately the clock had run down and the game was up. Never mind Becky, at least you've got a nice tan!
