The Guide: Norfolk's firework displays

Here's a snapshot of events taking place during November 2009 for bonfire night in Norfolk.

Saturday, 7 November, 2009

Aylsham Bonfire Night, Bure Valley School field.

Aylsham's grand fireworks display includes a family Guy Fawkes competition - bring your guys at the start of the evening for judging at around 6.30pm.

Event starts at 6pm.

Fireworks take place at 7pm.

Advanced tickets: £3.50 adults, £1.50 children. They can be purchased from the John Gaunt School website.

Tickets purchased on the night will be more expensive.

Grand Firework Display, Fakenham Racecourse.

Along with the "oohs" and "arrs", revellers can enjoy food and fairground attractions at the town event, which in 2009 is supporting the charity Help for Heroes.

Gates open at 5pm.

Fireworks start at 6.30pm.

Advanced tickets cost £13 per car (max 5 persons). Tickets on the night cost £15.

Sparks in the Park will once again bring thousands of people to Norwich

Sparks in the Park, Earlham Park, Norwich.

The giant annual fireworks bash returns to the city this year and includes a bonfire, sound stage, Guy Fawkes and a funfair.

Funfair starts at 5pm until 10pm.

Children's fireworks begin at 6.30pm.

Lighting of the bonfires, lantern procession and Guy Fawkes sculpture from 6.45pm to 7.30pm.

Big Bang fireworks from 8.30pm.

Advanced tickets: £6 adults, £3 children, free for under 4s.

On the gate tickets: £7.50 adults, £4.50 children, free for under 4s.

Norwich Fireworks Display, Norfolk Showground, Norwich.

The large fireworks display on the outskirts of Norwich is set to music and people can also enjoy all the fun of the fair during the event.

Gates open at 4pm.

Children's show starts at 6.30pm. Main event takes place at 8.45pm.

Tickets: £6 adults, £5 under 12s, free for under 4s.

2nd Hellesdon Scout Group Fireworks and BBQ, Firside Junior School, Hellesdon, Norwich.

Event starts at 6.30pm.

Fireworks start at 7.30pm and 8.45pm.

Tickets: £4 adults, £3.50 children, free for under 5s.

No alcohol, fireworks or sparklers to be brought into the grounds.
