The popularity of nudist beaches has seen them appear around the UK
Naturists using a nudist beach in Holkham say they're being unfairly blamed for sexual activity that's reported to be going on there.
The police have received complaints from members of the public, one of which led to the arrest of a male.
But the people who enjoy the beach say it is not naturists that are at fault.
"Anybody who's been to that beach will know that it just isn't like that," said Andrew Welch, commercial manager of British Naturism.
"I think the point that we want to make very clearly is that this is not activity that is being indulged in by our people who simply go to the beach to have a fun day in the sun, stretch out on the sand and get an all-over tan," he added.
British Naturism are working with the police in an attempt to clean up the beach's image.
"We're carrying out patrols of the beach both in our highly visible off-road police vehicle and on foot with the beach warden," said Sgt Andy Smith, Norfolk police.
"We're working alongside the regional representative for British Naturism who are also fully supportive in seeking to stop this kind of illegal activity," he added.
