Bee Part Of It: Norfolk's bees prepared for hive

BBC Norfolk has set up its own hive at Felbrigg Hall, near Cromer, as part of the BBC's Bee Part Of It campaign to keep the county's honeybees buzzing.

Before being moved into their full size hive, the bees start off in a smaller nucleus box.

The bees are still able to collect pollen and return it to the nucleus box and once conditions are prime, both the bees and the frames will be transferred into the hive.
