Hundreds brave the sea at Cromer for festive dip

More than 200 brave dippers ran into the North sea in Cromer for the seaside town's annual Boxing Day Dip.

The Cromer dip has been going for more than 30 years and is now organised by the North Norfolk Beach Runners.

The 2009 even raised money for East Anglia's Children's Hospices, which helps families who care for children with life-threatening conditions.

The event was attempting to raise more than £2000 for the local charity, beating the 2008 dip total.
