Jelly, star presenter of CBeebies' The Green Balloon Club, talked to the local media about why we should all learn about wildlife.
Wild About the Wensum aimed to encourage people of all ages to get back to nature and learn how to enjoy and help it.
All that learning was hungry work! Fortunately William Tell wasn't making a visit to the reserve on this occassion.
Jelly got the chance to meet her adoring fans and made plenty of new friends. Some were even lucky enough to get a kiss.
Jelly took time to sit down with hundreds of her fans during the day to discuss how important and fun it is to learn about nature.
Jelly enjoyed getting the chance to talk about her favourite types of wildlife. "I love flappy-feeted puffins and velvety-moles," she said.
The Wensum Valley is designated as a Special Area for Conservation (SAC) by the European Union and Natural England.
There were plenty of attractions to keep people of all ages amused, including animal inspired face-painting.
Jelly had a great time at Pensthorpe. "It is really important to care for nature and our environment, because it is SO amazing," she said.
