Neil Emmett, 23, a student at the Norwich University College of the Arts (NUCA), has produced a film as part of the BBC's A History of the World project.
Neil, along with other second year students on NUCA's BA animation course, focused on objects from around the world which they feel have contributed to our culture, heritage and development.
"I often buy books second-hand so I have a number of ex-library books. Some of them have date stamps going back to the 70s and one in particular is from 1882," said Neil who lives in Costessey, Norwich.
"That inspired me to make a film about a library book that is taken out by various people over the years, from the 19th Century to the present day.
"I think it's really interesting how long some of these books have been around and the number of people they've come into contact with," he added.
The NUCA students, supported by BBC Norfolk, had four weeks take their film from concept to completion, with the final work assessed as part of their BA degree in animation.
