Medieval hall clinches top award
Dragon Hall, Norwich
Dragon Hall has been honoured at the Glass and Glazing Industry G09 Awards

Dragon Hall in King Street, Norwich, has won the Glass Project of the Year award for its creative extension on the Grade I listed building.

The glass gallery was installed during the restoration of Dragon Hall in 2006.

"I'm very pleased for all the construction team," said Stephanie Potts, Dragon Hall general manager.

The extension creates a space for exhibitions and displays, and acts as a venue for receptions and local historical events.

"It's always wonderful to receive awards, but to be given this one for such a challenging piece of design is especially gratifying," said Terry Hickham Smith, restoration architect for Dragon Hall.
