Status Quo announce Thetford Forest concert

Status Quo will play at Thetford Forest on Thursday, 9 June 2011

Status Quo have confirmed that they will appear at Thetford Forest on Thursday, 9 June 2011, as part of Forestry Commission Live Music.

The band will perform classic hits including Caroline, Down Down and Whatever You Want at their only appearance in the East this year.

The band last appeared in Norfolk in the summer of 2008.

"We are pleased to make Thetford part of our touring plans for 2011," said lead guitarist Francis Rossi.

"Forestry Commission Live Music is a fantastic annual event that has become a statutory part of the UK's live music calendar.

"We love to bag a trip to the woods each year."

Status Quo join Erasure and Simple Minds as confirmed acts for the summer concerts at Thetford Forest.
